Siddu Red Jack fruit plants marked it's origin from Tumkur, a village in karnataka state.The jack tree was grown by an ordinary farmer of that village and later it was discovered by central horticulture research institute.This jack fruits are small in size about 2.5 kg size. An average of 30 nos bulbs will be obtained from one jack fruit. An average of 450 nos jack fruits will be yielded from one jack tree per year. The pleasant aroma jack fruit is red in colour, crispy and rich in its nutritious content.Taste is very yummy and sweet.Siddu red jacks are suitable for commercial cultivation also.Budded siddu red jack plants will start to yield with in 3 to 4 years.
