Rollinia belongs to 'Annona' family to which fruits like seethapzham, soursop, soncoya etc belongs.Rollinia fruit marked it's origin from south american regions like peru, argentina, brazil etc. Now a days rollinia is found common in fruit gardens of kerala too. Rollinia fruit is seen with a little protuberances in its outer skin and got white yummy flesh inside. Many seeds are found inside a rollinia fruit. The fleshy part can be eaten easily with a spoon. The flesh of rollinia is delicious and sweet.
